Kay i see you have stolen this topic already...i hate you!!!! yes i am saying it again...lol...but okay i am looking at it on an everyday aspect, forget the sexual tension at work in the changing rooms or where ever..
Actually let me digress for a second, cos i have a question. Guys have you noticed when you go the gym especially the changing room, there are guys ( i know that is obvious) but 95% of them are naked. I personally don't have a problem with my body or being naked but there is just something not right about being naked with a guy in the same room not to talk about 30+ guys in a hot steamy room with either soapy or sweaty bodies. The worst part is when ur now sitting down on a stool and then some guy comes to introduce himself this could be for the following reasons:-
He has been checking you out while working out.
Is intrigued with your workout.
Or has seen you naked and wants some.
Obviously i dont know which one of the above they fall into but i am not interested in any of the above. They now come close to you( bearing in mind i am sitting on the bench in the changing rooms) and they now put one leg up on the bench and leans forward to talk to you (with his crutch now in my face....Now we all know the code as guys, no staring at another man's package ( for those girls reading this, this rule is programmed into every guy from birth and is executed from the age of about 7). For those of you with younger brothers you can tell when this happens because he starts to shout at you when you walk into the bathroom and he is having a shower...
I dont know about you guys but i dont like it when people put their crutch in my face, especially when they are naked not to mentioned probably shriveled and odd looking ( i am just using imagination not recollection to describe)....Now what i want to know is that does this happen in the female changing rooms??..Because i know i dear not carry soap into those showers( which are not sectioned into cubicles by the way).. so from the guy that enters to the one standing and perving, everyone sorta has their eyes on you..
Now that i have finished digressing... i really want you guys to help me hit this topic on the head because there are always different versions and ways of thinking when it comes to this topic...Let us take the typical scenario you have a boyfriend, who has a very close friend that is a babe...Now would you prefer it if: -
A) They have had something before.
B) They have never had or claimed not to have any attraction to each other before.
Now with A ( they've had something before this might include sex) - There is the argument that since they have had something before, they can be friends as they have put what happened between them behind them.
My argument is that surely they have had something together, that means they both have good memories, assuming there were good times. It only takes a time of weakness, emotional or otherwise (drunk) before one person starts reminiscing or drunk texting and we end up back at the start( in her bed)...Now if they did not have history it wouldnt be soo easy for both of them to sleep together, please feel free to correct me if i am wrong..Unless the girl has had some very very veryyyyyyy deep feelings for your boyfriend that she has been waiting to bestow upon him..
Which leads me to B( they've not had anything), In this case it would be harder for them to do anything due to the guilty conscience.. I would like to point out that your boyfriend might not have the conscience like that but leave it to the girl( he is cheating with) to remind your boyfriend how guilty she is about what they are doing. I am not sure if that is any condolence to any of you girls out there with cheating boyfriends, so try not to be too harsh on the girl when you eventually catch them.
But if they have not had history..then there will be some sexual tension..... I am not too sure with this one because my best friend is a girl and i have to tell you, i think of her as one of my guys, i don't even think she has boobs or an arse ( whereas other guys drool over her) but that is only because that is how i had always seen her from the start. Because i have been friends with other girls and it was strictly platonic, till my guys come, query you and change your opinion...
So which on is better because i am looking at wifey's friends and i am suspect about one or two or a couple...lol!! Is a lie o, i am not one of those over protective boyfriends but then the next thing they will say is i dont care...
This is just an interim post before i update the question and answer post on friday!!! So you've got till friday 19th of septemeber to ask me the questions...

I just came hurr to comment and look at this...trying to collect gist...Tintin- You are not bound to anything but remember the bloggers silent contract- which is rolling for 12 months if you do not cancel within the then current 12 month term from the start of your blogging (i swear, this is how some of our products contracts are sold on...its mad abi...even i was confused about it for a hot minute...) anyhow, this ****** tension is all rubbish! it is just glamorised lust! allow it...the whole ST is the devil at work in man! Avoid it at all costs and it will be good for you!

ah, okay, now, about the post...hmm, my current best friend is a guy, he has been for like 5 years. But it is completely totally platonic no "ideas" up anybodys sleeves. but erm...hm, even though i enjoy the way it is, i don't think i'd be comfortable if my boyfriend was as close as we are with any girl!! because we share secrets and all that, that the bf/gf is not aware of..i wouldn't like that happening to me! lol..yea, rather selfish i know..but that's how it is.. *sigh* why are these things so complicated?
I'm not comfortable with my boyfriend having a really close female friend... You may think you are too hot to be cheated on, but wait till it happens... Ex girlfriends are a definite No No.... Depending on his and her body language (The best friend he has never had anything with), I will decide if I am comfortable with it or not... I really cannot trust any man with any woman... You may call that trust issues... but I choose to call it "Naija man issues" .... lol...

I like how every one ignored the first part of this post... its hella funny.. "shriveled and odd looking"... women are waaaay to self conscious to be prancing around locker rooms naked... even the skinny ones with close to perfect bodies... a girl on my high school b-ball team used to wear her uniform to the showers.... but on the issue of friends i'd rather have them not have any history.. so if anything does happen you'll definitely be able to tell...
